IAAFA RASISES £21,830 FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER!

The International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) hosted their annual Charity Ball on 12th April 2008 at the Marriott, Regents Park, London. The event was as usual a glitzy affair with a ‘James Bond’ theme running through.
This year the IAAFA council nominated CLIC Sargent, a charity dedicated to children and their families living with cancer to receive the funds raised from the auction and raffle. Dr Bob Khanna, founder and President of IAAFA co-hosted the auction with David Hicks of Wigmore Medical this proved to be a most dynamic and productive double act which resulted in a magnificent £21, 830 being raised.
During the evening Dr Khanna recited Abrahams Lincoln’s famous words,
“A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child.”
and said of the success of the night
“I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my fellow colleagues and peers who have donated some wonderful prizes and donations.”
Some of which included a Cruise in Turkey on a private boat with a skipper donated by Dr Anthony Bendowski, President of the ADI, a day’s free consulting with Bobbi Anthony, a free place on the year long GIFT implant course donated by Dr Stewart Harding, three full day courses in Facial Aesthetics donated Dr Bob Khanna amongst many others.

On the 22nd of May 2008 Dr Bob Khanna presented a cheque to Daphne Pullen, Chairperson of CLIC Sargent at their Hammersmith headquarters.
