PRESS RELEASE

IAAFA’s First Annual Conference is a resounding success!

IAAFA, the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics, held its first ever Annual Conference on the 16th – 17th March 2007 at the Marriott Hotel, Regents Park, London, with a glittering charity ball on the evening of the 16th held in aid of the NSPCC. The theme of IAAFA’s inaugural Annual Conference, which was attended by over 200 delegates, was ‘The Future of Facial Aesthetics Today’, underlining the organisation’s wider aims and objectives. With the concept of the ‘medical spa’ growing in popularity, it’s an exciting time for facial aesthetics professionals and IAAFA was set up by Dr Bob Khanna to help bring colleagues together in order to integrate the diverse wealth of knowledge present within this ever-evolving field, enhancing and regulating patient care.

The Annual Conference featured a unique programme of lectures by guest speakers representing every branch of the facial aesthetics profession and an industry related exhibition. Exhibitors included Pinch Design, Independent Seminars, 3M, Kodak, Scican, Fziomed, Merz Pharma, Jameson Management UK, The Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute, Medenta, Wigmore Medical and Hamilton Fraser Insurance Solutions.

IAAFA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the work of practitioners in facial aesthetics and can offer members a range of highly tangible benefits, as the organisation’s inaugural Annual Conference demonstrates! IAAFA has an exceptional panel of advisory members representing every branch of facial aesthetics, many of who were guest speakers at the event. The unique lecture programme demonstrates IAAFA’s commitment to giving its members an interactive, supportive learning forum encompassing the many facets of facial aesthetic medicine via inter-disciplinary teaching from experts.

President and Founder of IAAFA, Dr Bob Khanna, offers hands on training courses to dental and medical professionals wishing to enhance their knowledge and experience of non-surgical facial treatments such as wrinkle softening with Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers.

Bob Khanna is internationally recognised as a leading lecturer, trainer and expert in the facial aesthetic field, having trained over 4,500 doctors, dentists and plastic surgeons on non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures, in addition to pioneering many different techniques.
