IAAFA’s First Annual Conference
is a resounding success!
IAAFA, the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics,
held its first ever Annual Conference on the 16th –
17th March 2007 at the Marriott Hotel, Regents Park, London,
with a glittering charity ball on the evening of the 16th
held in aid of the NSPCC. The hugely successful event was
the first of its kind in the UK, bringing together many of
the leading names in facial aesthetics, including cosmetic
dentists, cosmetic dermatologists, aesthetic nurse practitioners,
plastic surgeons and cosmetic doctors.
The theme of IAAFA’s inaugural Annual Conference, which
was attended by over 200 delegates, was ‘The
Future of Facial Aesthetics Today’, underlining
the organisation’s wider aims and objectives. With the
concept of the ‘medical spa’ growing in popularity,
it’s an exciting time for facial aesthetics professionals
and IAAFA was set up by Dr Bob Khanna to help bring colleagues
together in order to integrate the diverse wealth of knowledge
present within this ever-evolving field, enhancing and regulating
patient care.
The Annual Conference featured a unique programme of lectures
by guest speakers representing every branch of the facial
aesthetics profession and an industry related exhibition.
